Sorry, but i dont know why i posted this
its nowt to do with footy,a wonderfull first day
    BUT,,ive not been well lateley
My beer has not gone down too well, but to day i went to the shop for a can or two
,and in the shop were little chines kids a boy and girl, the little boy about 9 tearsold and the little girl about 5..they were grand kids of the Chineses take away next door.....Now in 1950 while i ws out in hong kong with the Royal Engineers i was a driver, and we were building a bridge,at a place caled LO-WU...it was on an estuary.and was tidal...it was a monday we started the job....and wehen the tide came in it fetched in the body of a little chinese boy.and it got fast and was just out of reach..then when the tide went out so did the body....on the next day the tide came in ,so did the body, and went on like this till the thursaday.when the las decide they had enough they were very upset ,with what was happening...so they drew a straw and whoever got the shosrt one,was to wade in and get the body...also they made a wooden cross...sure enough the tide came in...and the chap went and got the body....and they gave it a decent burial....and called the Boy KIM..as i said i dont know why i posted this..other than just to show the Human nature of the British Soldier....abroad....sorry if any is hurt or offended with this...but i coud not help it after seeing those 2 chinese kids in the shop
