The choice between a top flight manager and a lower league one...

    is that they normally have knowledge of the kind of players they are working with and are surrounded by.
    You may want an ex-Prem or Champ. manager but they would want that level of player to come in..... it's what they know.
    Get a lower league one, on the cheap as many of you would say, and they would know about lower league players. You've only to look back at the Parkins, Hills and Flitcrofts of this world. No disrespect to them, but it's what THEY know.
    Do we want to try to "live the dream" again or keep saying, "they've appointed the cheap option and we've got the players to go with it".
    I'd love to live the dream again but reality has to rule. In other words I haven't got a clue.
