or the answer in this case.

Look at Bri's comments below. He is already detaching himself from the club with 'I like it there'and 'am enjoying my football there' comments. Where FFS is 'there'?? Surely he should be saying 'here'. Sounds to me as though he is using the club to put himself in the shop window. Bad news but perhaps he thinks he is becoming bigger than he club and we should cash in.

I'm happy at Barnsley," he told Sky Sports.

"I like it there. I'm under contract for another year and I enjoying my
    football there.

"Obviously it's been a great season and I'm happy to stay there.

"I'm club captain, which I enjoy a lot and am privileged to have, and
I'm enjoying my football and we'll see what happens.

"I've got a year left on my deal, but hopefully the club will come and
    we'll talk soon."

Just out of interest where was he when the question was asked?

If he was at Oakwell then you may have a point.

If he was somewhere else then I think you are taking 2+2 and making 6

    Why look for Cryptic clues?

Where was the interview taken place? If it was in Sheffield and he said "here" you'd be saying he wanted to play for the pigs then (either of them)?????

Putting words in his mouth. Hes said he wants a new contract (fair enough). Hes honoured to be club captain, and hes enjoyed the season. Thats all hes said.

why do you have a problem with that??

I have worked for a few different employers in my time..I enjoyed my time with each, but there came a time when I felt it time to move on...so why does it have to be different for a football player...is Biran born and bred in BARNSLEY.... no thought not.

I don't have a problem with him moving. I do have a problem if he's playing politcis - using Barnsley as a pawn - to put himself in the shop window. His comments to me didn't sound convincing that's all.

So , he made the comments in London, but he is slagged off for saying

"there" instead of "here". If he had said "here" , thenhe would have been accused of trying to get a transfer to a London club. I am baffled as to why he is continually slated on here.
