2 tickets - £110. Train down there £70. Other travel £30. Food/drink £40 (at least!) Programmes and other bits and pieces £20. £270 for one day out.

Not difficult to see why the attendance was so poor yesterday, people saving up for the semi.

Would still be £210 with the cheapest tickets.

Aye, I had a choice - Easter in Barnsley, Blunts gamey and family or day at Wembley. Tough choice

    Yeah Cost Is Expensive

45 for the ticket, 30 for official coach, 6 quid for programme and that's even if you take your own food and drink.

    RE: Yeah Cost Is Expensive

    £25 for ticket
£65 for 2 nights in hotel (twin room shared)
    However much for petrol
    Plus beer and food

Then again combined as a weekend away so reckon it's decent value....same price for a ticket as the Chelsea game!

    RE: Big Mac and Fries

Is the 0.25 of a pint for anyone special, or do you plan on spilling some?

    Quiet Thee!

What's a pint of Fosters in central London cost? I'm guessing £4.20 or so. So a meal for about £30, add in some wine and a few pints and it doesn't take long to get to £75.

And by the way I probably owe you a pint anyway for helping me with commentary a few weeks back. Thanks.
