I haven't been to Swansea or the Wolves game obviously, but every time I hear coverage of the game from outside of this message board, its "your goalkeeper was outstanding", or "yet another great save by Heinz Muller".
From the Radio Sheffield report It sounds like he wasn't too clever for either of their goals. Just saying like.
Yeah it would seem he was at fault for both the Wolves goals today. Not the same keeper since coming back from his injury. That's clear.
RE: From the Radio Sheffield report From the reports I've heard of the swansea and wolves games, he has made a string of saves in each. He's forced to concede a few; there's too much happening in front of him.
Not a patch on Nick Colgan or Dave Watson. I paid you a compliment last night, mate. Don't worry, I won't make it a habit!
Nick Colgan? Come off it mate, don't go tarnishing my image of you with bizarre comments like that. Colgan was pretty woeful, while Watson on the other hand was better than Muller, I agree.
It's an 'in joke' between Mark & myself My honest opinion is that Muller is the best goalkeeper I've seen playing for us in the 40 years I've been going down to Oakwell. Both Colgan & Watson were the ultimate in 'flappers'. The only reasons Watson didn't get more abuse for his feeble attempts at claiming crosses is because he was a local lad and he was our goalkeeper at the most succesful time in our club's history. A cruel. career ending injury simply enhanced his perceived ability.
RE: Eight Games Without Keeping A Clean Sheet Too overworked that's why. Too much happening in front of him and not enough at the other end of the pitch. Will be an awsome keeper for a decent club.
no comment......... from BBC
Kevin Foley and Andy Keogh missed early chances before Bobby Hassell diverted the ball into his net after Barnsley goalkeeper Heinz Muller missed a cross.

With a lesser goalkeeper against Burnley.. That 3-0 lead would have quickly become a 6-3 defeat. He is given far too much to do in nigh-on every game.
there's about as much chance of odejayi getting 4 in one match as there is Davey dropping Muller. Most of the time Steele doesn't even make the bench (its far more important to fill it with strikers that never come on)
I'm probably Muller's biggest fan, but It's difficult to justify dropping Steele earlier on in the season when his form was superior to Heinz's current performances. There's no doubt Muller's an outstanding goalkeeper, but he's nowhere near the high standards he's capable of. Also, no player should ever be guaranteed a place in the starting line up, irrespective of ability. I once read on here that Simon Davey should play his best players all the time, no matter what. In my opinion, that would be wrong, unprofessional and is highly unlikely to convince the likes of Steele to remain at the club.
RE: I'm probably Muller's biggest fan, but If Muller was sat on the bench there would be fewer scouts watching him and no talk of £2-2.5M moves. I'm not saying he still wouldn't go somewhere but it would be for much less. I have always been of the opinion that you can pick up a decent keeper cheaper than any other position. If we can get silly money a la Flinders and strengthen a couple of other positions because of that, it could be a massive turning point in the season.
did i read that wrong or did you say we should play a keeper who is costing us points so that we get some money for him at some point in the future?
