Looks a decent film, but could be the greatest work of fiction ever! Anyone looking forward to seeing Old Big 'Ead???
Aye. Thought the book wor a good read. Only fon out abart the film from a snippet on t' new t other day.
When's it due?

I'll be going to watch, although I notice the Clough family are not happy with either the book nor the film based on it. For the record, I'd say a much broader and insightful all round view on the man is the "Provided you dont kiss me" bio by Duncan Hamilton. Reinforces how stale football management has become, particularly in the Premiership. Watching the likes of Benitez murder the English language on MOTD makes me wish we had a few more Cloughies "I want you to put your medals on the table. All of you. Because you cheated for them."
Agreed Quality book.
Reporters shitting themselves at meeting him. How would Radio Sheffield have coped ?

Apparently it's great for football fans A few of my mates have seen it already One described it as being like " a nice warm bath" Worth a watch I got bored of the book - I like Peace but his books tend ro run out of steam, or maybe thats my attention span!
Michael Sheen is bizarre In the film he looks like Brian Clough. But when he played Tony Blair he looked like Tony Blair. And when he played Kenneth Williams he looked like Kenneth Williams. He is metamorphism man.
RE: Good holiday mate? How did the flag go down? nt My holiday was brilliant thanks - we were in Miami The boys had a great in Barbados, I couldn't make the trip, from what I can gather and the flag did em proud. Hope all well with you
