I just wonder at half time if some of the players thought the game was already won.

We could and maybe should have been more than 2 goals up at the break (not sure how Davies's 1 on 1 did not go in) but that is by the by. Did Drinkwater going off early doors really affect us? In my opinion no but there were certain players who did not talk responsibility or lead by example.

I thought in the second half the entire back 4 were abysmal and the 2 centre halves allowed Scotland to drop off and collect the ball in space, they also allowed the ball to bounce around or near the box therefore putting themselves under pressure.

People ,including myself, have slated Addison but personally i think he could have done a job just sitting in front of the defence when the panic started to set in at 2-2.

We also lost a lot of shape when we had 3 strikers on the pitch and had no width to put the ball over.

I know Butterfield is only a young lad but as captain he has to do a lot better than yesterday.Turning into trouble and then giving out uneccessary passes to team mates put our own team under the cosh.

We should have closed the game out but conceding 20 seconds into the second half really set the tone and a number of players hit the panic button.

It's only one result but i hope it is a walkup call to some of the more experienced players that they have to raise their game (Hassell,Foster,McNulty,Butterfield) to name a few.

January is only a matter of weeks away and maybe 2 or 3 freash faces in the squad (especially in defence and experience in midfield) is what we may well need but i am not Keith so what do i know.

My feelings too. That first Ipswich goal was a sucker punch and after that we were just reeling on the ropes trying to find our legs. There was nobody and nothing to halt the momentum shift. It's now important that all involved learn from the experience and don't let the negative momentum leak into the next game. That's the job of the management team.

Cant agree with all of the back of four thought Wiseman did O.K. second half and the there was little cover in front of McNulty and Foster with Scotland having the freedom of the borough.

Just hope Drinkwater`s injury aint too serious anyone know?

Thought Wiseman got forward well at times but defensively he is not sound.

I thought we could have introduced Addison on to protect the back 4 and just sit in.

    Apologies for the typos.

Take responsibility and wakeup call i should have written in opening commnet.

I think we have made a mistake in releasing Doyle and a mistake in bringing in Ranger, he may do well in the rest of his loan but for me he his stopping Haynes getting match time.

God cant believe that I have just stuck up for Doyle and Haynes must be going senile.

Oh man what a match, i thought we were completely dead and buried at half time. We just had nothing going forward in that first 45mins.

Had someone told me we would score 5 in the second half i'd have told them to have thier head examined (or at least thier eyesight), but my god what a turn around. Someone said about our first goal being the sucker punch and i totally agree. Scoring 20 seconds into the second half completely shifted the momentum our way, mind you i feel your defending was a lot more generous in the second half. I dont know who it was at you right back position, but whoever it was allowed Cresswell to find his range with his crosses which indirectly lead to the first (a knock down for Andrews volley) and directly lead to the second (Andrews header) and fifth (Scotlands volley). Had we been pressed like we were in the first half i dont think we would have reversed that scoreline, i mean, three goals came from the space Cresswell had on the wing. Once the second went in though, you just looked shell shocked. We could have had more than 5.

Decent match though, a real rollercoaster for us in the away end. One minute we're trying to digest 8 defeats in a row, the next its conga's and blue flares. Crazy game.

Overall i thought your team looked alright though, Vaz Te and Ranger really offer you something up front, cant understand the criticism of Ranger, thought he look alright. You seem pretty comfortable in possession. I dont think you've got anything particular to worry about at the moment, you just maybe need a player or two in January to help shore up the defence.

Best of luck for the rest of the season

Will be one of those games talked about for years by your fans and you were on of the 300+ plus that was there to witness it, although there will have been 3,000 there when you do discuss it in years to come.

Jacob was smacked in the face in the build-up to the 4th, and nobody closed down the cross ahead of Hassell, so that wasnt Bobs fault. Then the cross deflected to Scotland who put it in. Cruel..
And the 3rd, Jimbo gave away possession which lead to that goal. Again, **** all to do with Bobby Hassell who at least won headers, and didnt go AWOL.
I love Jim O'Brien, but jeez he was bad yesterday, after he'd been fouled cynically. Bobby had no help whatsoever.

Dont think O`Brien has been given enough of the ball last 2 games most things seemed to have gone to Vaz Te down the left, a bit like last season when Hammill was the predictable out ball.

Did seem to do less after getting clattered but like the others second half couldn`t retain possession and find a red shirt.
