I seem to remember our poor form in the second half of the season when Davey took us to the FA cup Semi Finals was blamed on the distraction of the FA cup

Interestingly our current run of form coincides almost exactly with our cup run which to me makes more sense anyway - winning becomes a habit (just as losing can also become one)

wonder if we would still have had the same run if we had gone out to Burnley?

Think last seasons drop of in form was blamed on the sale of Vas Te and Drinkwater and injury to Butterfield

Well this time we are still without Vas Te Drinkwater and Butterfield
Have sold Stones for more than all three of those fetched put together and have been without Dawson for most of the run

funny how excuses can seem a bit less valid over time

I agree winning becomes a habit , and winning in the Cup has turned our season around.
