I'd take the former any day and an FA Cup semi-final over the spin and dross we're served up at present.

I think "everyone" is a bit of an overstatement, as I for one ( and I reckon there may be a few others ) didn't want him anywhere near thus football club - and let's not get started on the " former agent with great contacts in football!"

I agree about 442 and keep it simple, but for all the midfielders that we have signed who would do a good job on the wing ?( ie run at players and get crosses in) these 2 key positions should have been sorted in the summer.

Aye because if you disagree then you must be living in a FM world. Its impossible that the thousands of people in the stands, the former professional players, the media pundits and the results could all be correct isn't it.

I was referring to the statement that these positions should have been sorted in the summer. In real life it isn't that easy. And anyway most will have thought that in Treacy and Jennjngs we had two players more than good enough

It's a shame the players didn't want to join in

If a club in the third tier of English football can only find one winger in the country willing to join us then something is drastically wrong.

Davey wasn't as bad as some make out but he had to go and in my opinion we got rid at the right time. Danny is a much better manager and I'd take him every time without hesitation. He will get it right.
