I think SOD's weeks are shorter/longer than the common mans.

 

He wanted to see what else became available (over the next 3 weeks) and if nothing did he would manage us.... T#at of the highest order.

We didnt need someone like that at the club.

 

Glad he didn't even enter my thinking, when Keith went. Never understood the clamour for him.

 

I completely understand the reasons why Don approached SOD and Butcher but I really think we dodged a couple of bullets by not getting them, especially where Butcher is concerned. Initially I thought SOD as I thought he would need the least time to get used to the players but after seeing how Flicker has gone about things I am very happy with how things have turned out. IMO we have the right man.

 

SOD did exactly that, hanging on to see who and where he could get in. He should have been up front and said NO you are not big enough for me. Gone down in my estimation.

 

Good work Don not waiting for SOD to pimp himself around other jobs. On another note, the link at the top of this thread has just comatosed the browser on my phone. Taken me 10 mins to sort it, phone users beware.
