Really enjoy the show tonight Barry for his age was amazing ...bonus ... Curtis styger support act best 15 quid spent for some time, really good value for the money
Yes I also went and both Curtis Stigers and Barry were excellent. Especially as Barry is now 79. The seats were also very good, central and on the 2nd level. Really couldn't have chosen better ones myself. Thanks Jam Drop for the reminder. I used to be a member years ago but in its early days we never got any offers and changed email addresses. I've been amazed how many we have had this summer since i re registered. We are now set to go to see Nile Rodgers and Chic in a couple of weeks!
We only booked late Friday evening was sat up in the God's row o 4 rows from the very top seating ....no complaints for 15quid
Can't thank you enough jam drop for this little gem of a site The wife was over the moon when she realised Curtis was on the bill ...the show was emotional in parts, especially when Barry reminisced about his grandfather and their time together...as the wife said ...we were transported back to our younger years with his song choices for tonight's set.
The website says please do not tell people about these cheap seat opportunities, reckon there will be less and less tickets soon as people can’t hold their own water
It depends on the show. When I signed up, they specifically wanted people who would promote them. When you are there it’s different and you are not to mention where you got the tickets from at all. With Barry Manilow, I first got an email that said it was exclusive to me and not to share, and I didn’t. The next day, I got another email that was ok to share, so I did. This is what I get on some low availability ones that I don’t post here (unless more become available/they don’t sell and it becomes a shareable one): The rest are fine to share. I even got this email a couple of weeks ago:
@JamDrop thanks so much for posting this. Just signed up! We have 3 young kids and everything is just so expensive at the moment. Will keep a lookout for any offers that come up. BTW The kids like the masked singer
Anyone interested in seeing Shaggy in Sheffield tomorrow? I had no idea he had more than one song £6.50 booking fee, full price normally £27. https://www.weticketit.com/showfilmfirst/booking/Event/detail/WSR09473
dammit. can't believe I'm missing this. I've agreed to have my hands and feet nailed to electrified fencing tomorrow night. gutted.
I’ll see if he can be persuaded to come and serenade you whilst you’re stuck there so you don’t have to miss out.
This doesn't really fit here as it's not through the usual free/cheap tickets place but I didn't want to start a new thread. So... If anyone is planning a trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park in August then you can get tickets for £11.25 or £13.50 (depending on method used) that includes full day entry as normal, plus a live concert in the evening on every Saturday of the month. You don't have to go to the concert, of course, you can just buy the cheaper tickets for the day out. There are two ways to get the cheaper tickets depending on how much you care about seeing STEPS (slightly higher price). It's slightly cheaper (and slightly more of a faff) to buy tickets through Wowcher: https://www.wowcher.co.uk/deal/shef...4269494&slug=summer-safari-nights-tkt-voucher STEPS/the last Saturday in August is not available through Wowcher. The other, easier but a couple quid extra, way is to use the discount code SAVE40 and book directly through Yorkshire Wildlife Park here: https://www.yorkshirewildlifepark.com/safari-nights/ The code only works for the Bronze tickets (furthest from stage) and can be used for the STEPs one. Normal every day entry tickets are £22 per adult/£20 per child so 40%-50% off is quite the saving for a family and if you've never been before it's an amazing place. I can't comment on the quality of the evening concert part as I've never been to one.
