............what an absolutely fooooking brilliant performance by the England fans tonight

Even at 2-0 down they continued to dominate

Any player listening to that will gain the ability to run through a brick wall

    WOW !!!

I saw quite a few BFC flags. But the players on the pitch won it, Nudger is just nuts.

Watch the replay of Vardy's goal. Camera pans in on the England fans and the Old Number 7 flag is in the bottom right hand corner of the shot.

Channel hopping here in Italy and RAI 3 had the game on live. Cue groan from wife who said..." You dont REALLY want to watch it DO YOU??!!!"

Anyway, I said I would watch a few minutes and then probably put Netflix on or something. Just couldn't. It took me a couple of minutes to work out that the team pressing (just before Germany scored their first goal) was actually England. Pace, skill putting passes together even. I had to watch it. Even at 2-0 down you got the feeling something could happen and when Kane scored that goal (all 3 were high quality and Vardy's was 'Messi-esque') I felt England could go on and win this. The commentators were going mental and must have shown the Vardy goal about 10 times during the match.

As you say it was only a friendly, and the defence did look very suspect, but Alli missed a sitter which would have made it 2-2 before Vardy scored with that sublime flick. The defender had no idea what had happened. The RAI pundit was full of superlatives over the England performance. Germany play Italy on Tuesday night so it will be interesting to compare.

Very entertaining, and if they play like that, even if they dont win it, at least they will be entertaining and will score goals 'cos the pace and skill shown by the forwards will worry any defence. Well played England.

PS Saw a Barnsley flag (near end of upper tier) loads of time during game

Ah yes! I remember it well!! Bloody Alzheimers!!

Ridiculous how I can watch my national team (full match) on free-to-air in another country when UK viewers have to pay for the same. Same with F1 although I do have to put up with "Ferrari this.... Ferrari that!" pre and post race!! Italy vs Germany
Tuesday on Rai HD full match
