the team that took us up will take us down. Unless we bring in some experienced players, borrowing 18yr olds from Man utd won't help Mr Richie, we are going down. The out of contract players at the end of the season will be off like **** off a shovel for pastures new, and GS will be begging the fans to stick with the club as we drift into oblivion. If there is no money for transfers then for gods sake tell us, if money is available but Richie is scared to spend it in case he buys another Wright then get rid. All we want is the truth, and to stop being treated like mushrooms.(RIP)
Yeah It's Simple....... to work out. If we go down then players like Colgan, Devaney, Howard, Hayes etc will be saying cya later.
It certainly is one of the more sensible opinions to have been expressed. Any new signings don't have to be better than what we have in the first team (well not all of them anyway)but they do need to be better than our reserves and at least as good as the existing 1st 11. at the very least,we need cover/competion for the likes of Howard, Togwell, Richards, McIndoe, Kay, Hassel etc. and at best we need replacements for Heckingbottom, Williams, Devaney, Hayes, Healy, Wright etc. Before anyone starts about lack of cash etc. I don't expect all of the above but one or two would at least show willing.
