Just had a conversation with the FA regarding the fact that they have charged Adebayor for his goal celebrations despite him getting a booking for it at the time which obviously they said could not happen with Morgan and the response from the FA is that he has been charged with 'improper conduct for excessive celebrations'. I pointed out that his excessive celebrations had already been dealt with by the FA and they argued that this is one of those exceptional circumstances where they can penalise the player further because the incident was brought to their attention by greater manchester police not by the referee. The police made the complaint about him inciting the fans and the FA looked into it and on have cited video evidence that they say PROVES he attempted to incite the fans by running the full length of the pitch towards them while video evidence SUGGESTED that Morgan may or may not have intended to injure Hume but it does not prove it conclusively.
I argued that the video evidence does not prove that he tried to incite their fans but merely suggested it as manchester city fans were sat only yards from where he was celebrating and so it is possible that he ran the length of the pitch in front of his own fans who were sat down the sides to celebrate in front of those manchester city fans in the stand in which he celebrated in front of. I did say that this is unlikely but not impossible that this could have been the case but they merely said that the statement from the police went against him but with Hume there was no backing from for example the police at the ground
Just thought i'd share.

Everyone knows what Morgan did, the FA are a shower of /poo They act when it suits and make the rest up as they go along. Pathetic, they really are a bunch of (asshole)
