And with the popular appointment of Flicker today the mood among the majority of fans seems positive. I personally believe that we will avoid the drop but we'll have a few scares and dissapointments along the way. However I can't help thinking what might have been as to the actions been taken a few games earlier,IMO it would have got us a better advantage over a few of our relegation rivals. But que Sera Sera onwards and upwards etc etc looking forward to an exciting and atmospheric end to the season.
you're right. we're not going to just turn up and roll every team over from hereon. we're still right in the $hit and need nothing short of a miracle to get us out of it. but this is the best chance we've got, and the players are all bang up for it.
Yep the payers looked hungry yesterday but more importantly I sensed a togetherness among them, not saying there was any discontent under Hill BTW but it seemed the players were at a loss in the final third.
Our season started yesterday and like Flicker says we need to win our mini league now. I am really positive about the second half of the season now.
I don't think the players ever stopped fighting. The sense of defeatism ended at Peterborough, even though we erm.... lost.
