123 gone, 123 gone.

Apparently Lacey's camp reckoned Joe was a "fading fighter."

    RE: 123 gone, 123 gone.

typical arrogant yanks did nothing but slate calzaghe, and gave him no chance, as lacey is a really big puncher, dont know if you have seen the fight windy, but it's the same all way through lacey never won a round, outhought, outfought and outboxed, and for a unification fight between two unbeaten fighters, it is amazing how one sided this fight was, probably the best performance i have seen by a british boxer in a world title fight.

lacy as always been overated and never had anyone decent to fight. finally he fights someone good and gets a pasting. those slaps joe did look to have damaged the overated yanks face lol.

He's got such a range of shots.

They're going in from 360 degrees.

He's even hitting hard in the clinches.

    Brilliant move.

Lacey was just at the limit of Calzaghe's jab and so untroubled by it. Calzaghe throws three quick jabs getting shorter as he moves forward. Lacey, his vision full of Calzaghe's left glove, doesn't realise he's stepped in untill the right cross crashes into the side of his head.

Brilliant fighting, especially at this stage.

calzaghe should now get the respect he deserves, unbeaten for 16 years,8 as champ, that's some record, and for a 33 year old he has great movement and fantastic handspeed.
