after the final whistle, and it took repeated announcements from the stadium announcer to persuade them to leave.' http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35853489.app I really hope they manage to hold on and win it!
I hope they do... my man crush for the cutest man in football is growing.. If just for Raneiri, I'm a Leicester fan.
I work with a Leicester fan, a genuine one, his family are from there. He's gone from asking me who Drinkwater was, whether or not they'll stay up, talking about being a half decent Prem side like Swansea, Stoke and stabilising.. To winning the Prem and playing in the Champions League. Mental - the biggest achievement in Premier League history if they do it.
Everybody seems to have forgotten them shafting local suppliers by going into administration and coming out of it with a brand new stadium free gratis.
I haven't forgotten. But I'm not happy with what happened at Barnsley around the period of our administration and although that was on a much smaller scale, it does mean I'd feel a bit hypocritical if I judged another club solely on their actions in and around their administration. For me, a football club is the fans, they had nothing to do with any of the wrong doing and it's them I feel excited for during this Premier League season. It's a fairytale, and I hope it comes true.
That's true. Personally I hope Spurs win the league. I think it's amazing an Argentinian of all people has done so much good for English football and our national team with giving English players a chance. Few other clubs would pluck an English (or any nationality) division three youngster and make them a premiership regular from the start. Other clubs would have loaned Ali out to the championship for a season and then probably another club for another season like Chelsea keep doing with Patrick Bamford. Leicester on the otherhand as much of a good story it is are still full for foreigners on comparision to Tottenham.
'The Foxes supporters sang "we're going to win the league" solidly for 15 min... Not for me. If you look at their first teams they both start 5 English players regularly. Simpson, Morgan, Drinkwater, Albrighton & Vardy Walker, Rose, Dier, Alli, Kane.
Re: 'The Foxes supporters sang "we're going to win the league" solidly for 15 min... Big difference in the quality and also he helped our national team out no end with the English guys he brought through at Southampton as well. Claudio seems a good man but he's not done as much for English football.
Re: 'The Foxes supporters sang "we're going to win the league" solidly for 15 min... Aye, 8 points at the minute
'The Foxes supporters sang "we're going to win the league" solidly for 15 min... Noone seems to mention the way they bought their way out of the championship in the same way as the big boys their supposed to be cleansing up in the PL buy the title. Didnt they go out and sign Drinkwater on the back of him dominating them at the Kingpower? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Re: 'The Foxes supporters sang "we're going to win the league" solidly for 15 min... My memory might be playing tricks on me but I was sure that every single person on the BBS were absolutely slating Leicester when they were buying the championship but now that they are leading the premiership as a direct result of that act they are hailed as heroes.
