as those of you who bother reading my increasingly rare posts will know RR#2 & I are not getting ST's this season for the first time in 13 years as he's (hopefully!) going to Uni. I have been training myself not to care so much about the club. Amazingly I have discovered a certain amount of freedom by doing so.

I can choose how to spend Tuesday evening & Saturday afternoon

I can meet people to go out earlier than 8pm on Saturdays

Fridays nights drinking can go on after 12 if I wish

Lying in on Satdi morning is possible

    I can concentrate at work

No need to follow a set routine pre match to ensure we win

If its -20 or pissing it down I can stay warm & dry

I no longer bore for Britain on the subject of BFC

Friends no longer have a common theme

We can have weekends away anytime rather than only when there are away games

I shall report if these still feel like benefits during the season

If you had a season ticket last season then can I ask why you only followed your routine on an handful of occasions?
