Burnley were there for the taking and yet again we gifted them a goal with being weak at the back. How the likes of McNulty and Wiseman wear my shirt is a joke. The team huffed and puffed and were a bit tip tappy but we are looking a bit better, Greening and Buzaky and I thought JOB and Sinclair looked good when they came on. But....back to the same old broken record that we have known since last December, BFC is crying out for at least 1 maybe 2 centre halves and still we do nothing about it, the likes of Wiseman and McNulty or not the answer, they are ot of their depth in this league and its plain to see week in week out. Burnley were poor after they scored and were there for the taking but yet again when you are a goal down you are on the back foot and we have zero threat in the final third or creativity until JOB and Sinclair came on. Hill needs to sort out the defence asap or we are relegation fodder, its a good job Peterbro are already down and the dee dars are dog sh*t as we are already in another relegation battle. Sort it out Hill quickly as this cannot carry on.
Re: The good the bad and the McNulty-When will Hill get a centre half before its too we conceded one goal from a corner, rest of game was comfortable. Reason we didn't win tonight was because every time we got to the box we turned round and passed it backwards, not because the defense was crap. Im not saying we dont need a good defender but defense was not the reason we didnt win tonight
The only time they proper threatned we gifted them a goal Another thing I noticed, we are at home so why don;t we deliver the balls into the box when we have the chance ?? instead we turn back round and start tip tap tip tap yawn yawn no threat garbage. Mcnulty was terrible he gave the ball away in dangerous positions far too many times. Hill needs 2 centre halves or we are down by Xmas. Whats that now on Hills CV ????? 8 wins in 42 games - its a disgrace
Re: The only time they proper threatned we gifted them a goal McNulty is a liability and needs dropping. Think if we get O'Brien more game-time, he may well be the man to get the ball in box more often (although Crainie put a peach of a ball in 2nd half and nobody was on end of it).
