    The reporting misses the point

    The text messages would NEVER be sent to illegal immigrants, they are illegal, the authorities don't even know they are here, what we're actually talking about are people legally here on limited visas, and the message is a reminder that the visa is about to expire.

    We've got a Canadian immigrant here at work, her visa runs out shortly, we'll be reminding her ourselves.

    Only joking, she's lovely, it's a shame she has to leave, she's really taken to football, but, unfortunately as an Arsenal supporter (something about Mr Henry's legs apparently).
