They ought to let Pickles munch his way through all the waste.

This is a complete sham of a policy, BTW.

Because in areas where recycling is by kerbside collection if you fill a wheelie bin in two weeks you are making too much rubbish.

4 people in our household, bin is only ever full at christmas.

    Popularist waste of money.

He claims to dispose of 'left-over' chicken tikka masala. That was a very funny interview.

This Idea and the increase of the motorway speed limit are smoke screens to divert everyones attention away from all the **** policies they are introducing...

Heard that on Radio 5....he wasn't too impressed when they read out a text saying they were suprised theres any left overs!

Household of 2, main bin is usually half full when we put it out. Not had to put the recycle bins out this week because they aren't even half full either....mainly due to me laying off the beer for the last couple of weeks

Did our council tax go down when we went to fortnightly collections? Did it chuff.
Countries like Spain have collections several times a week, if not daily.
Just because we collect more frequently, doesn't mean the bin will be full when collected.
With fortnightly collections you often find you have to stand in the wheelie bin to squash the **** down to make room. (family of 5).

Daily bin collections in Spain - but only from big bins at end of the road.

Eric Pickles makes me want to vomit. Typical bloody stupid tory reactionary policy.
