I would absolutely love it if the guy had a stormer at Scunny and notched a couple of goals. Trouble is we all know it aint gonna happen. All this talk of nurturing him & working on his "raw talent" is a load of crap. He's 26 in February for Christs' sake, he's not going to get any better. The art of finishing is something you either have or you don't, no amount of coaching is ever going to change that now. Mr Davey can bang on about what he does in training as much as he likes (same used to be said about a certain Mike Sheron) but you have to be able to reproduce that where it matters - out in the middle. He seems a nice kid and it must be pretty bad for him at the moment but there's no room for sentiment in this game, we simply have to get rid during the window and look for someone better. We could get Nads back tomorrow. Let's swallow our pride and DO IT. I'll get me tin hat....
only team he's scored against is scunny even if he scores tomorrow , it won't cover up how poor he is
Yep, agree with it all. Never mind Nardiello - Richards or Odejayi, as much as people say Odejayi has got potential you are right he is 26 next and should be at the hight of his career now, he just isn't good enough. Richards for all his faults would have scored on Saturday.
I hear what your saying, but strikers thrive on confidence to score goals, its obvious ko has got a problem and it doesn't help when people take the P*ss . By the way who in there right minds would buy a striker who cannot score? Thats why we and alot more clubs have been linked with a certain 32year old at Chesterfield.
been reading for a while, thought id join in with the depression! This makes interesting viewing, Kayode "Mean Machine" Odejayi! http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay...l=5&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=3
Maybe someone should show it to him, just to remind him what he is here for. Mind you some of them do go back a bit, both Devaney and McCann were on some of those clips.
Lets See How He Gets On Today Now I for one will be getting behind him and hope others do. Would love him to score a goal and stick it to us for the stick we give him.
art of finishing what confuses me is the goal he scored was a really good goal and good finish, and he was also excellent in the pre season friendly v. Wigan, I thought he would be good for us after that match. just a shame he has yet to repeat that form.
Hang on just a second "Richards for all his faults would have scored on Saturday" Not knocking Richards for effort but he potentially cost us a hatful of points last season due to bad misses. Virtual open goal when 1-nil up at Derby for starters
He's a nice fella and he will succeed He will come good no doubt about it just give him time, like the time he had for my little lad on Saturday. [img=http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/4650/kodejayiyw2.jpg]
