The PL have failed to reach agreement with the EFL with regards to an extra £850m support package.
10 clubs voted against it, you'll not be surprised at most, but the last one really is like a turkey voting for xmas, not sure where they see their future.
    The clubs are.......
    Liverpool
    Arsenal
    Spurs
    West Ham
    Chelsea
    Crystal Palace
    Aston Villa
    Wolves
    Bournemouth
    Nottingham Forest

Surely £850 is a drop in the ocean for the PL

There ought to be a way to stop Championship clubs spunking it on wages and making sure that at least a percentage is invested into things that improve the club.

I think there'll be another tilt at the European super league at some stage
I bet half the clubs in that list were outraged at the top clubs who wanted to break-away for the money.....irony is dead.

Why should they give away money to clubs that aren't run as well?

Read the other day it was West Ham & Bournemouth who were stopping it happening.

I'm not being funny mate but is this a joke? Hardly any of them are run well. The only reason majority of them are in prem is because money has been pumped in, well beyond their means. The reason its packaged this way is because without the efl the premier league would be the French league

The premier league is becoming more of a closed shop.

All three of last years relegated in the Championship top 4 and the three promoted clubs in the bottom 4. Parachute payments are designed to give relegated clubs a massive financial advantage.

From 1992 the disparity between the premier league and the rest of football has grown and grown. We already have a super league just an English one.

Notice City are not on the list, pretty sure the Glazers would be on the list so fair play to Mr 25%. American ownership = **** on those below.

    Tough call this for me.
Seen a few suggest a wage cap, the only (and for me) major issue is that all the TV revenue would go into the clubs/owners hands or they would do what Derby did to fudge the rules where they paid Tom Ince mum an astronomical wage to be a cleaner.
For me I would prefer to see clubs forced to put a % back into grass roots or local communities.
