Police bid to clip hooligan wings Police from Germany and South Yorkshire are joining forces at Doncaster's Robin Hood Airport in a bid to stop known hooligans travelling to the World Cup. Fans across the county who have been given football banning orders should have already handed in their passports to police, but not all of them have. The uniformed officers will patrol the airport looking for anyone trying to breach the orders. The high profile operation will run from 5 June to 9 July.
