Incredible they haven’t managed to get a game in there to at least make it sporting.

They knew weather was around. I know the regulations don’t allow for it - but why not make sure you get two games in?

Looking at it, between the women’s game and the men’s game they’ve bowled 280 balls - they could have got a result in both games in 100.

Even if they had the women’s game go the full 200 ball distance, there has still been time to get a forty ball game in for the men - but even with it raining and them going off and back on, they still had the Superchargers bat on.

Common sense needs to prevail at some point to ensure the games get a result. Look at the weather forecast, get a game in. If it then doesn’t rain, then you’ve still got a result in.

It's a shame the Superchargers men lost because of the first really bad day of rain the whole tournament.

As for the women take a bow Devina Perin. Only the second hundred in the female Hundred history alongside Tammy Beaumont.

Shouldn't be too long before she's in the England team. She's not 19 until a week on Monday.

Tomorrow will be tough against South Brave that won all 8 league games and have about 9 players who have played for their country and Tilly Corteen Coleman who will be the next.

By all accounts the big investors want to turn it into 20/20.

Hopefully. Although it would obviously need a rebrand. The colourful branding, the razzmatazz and the cheap tickets for kids make it good family fun, which makes up for the failings of the actual format. T20 is at least a recognisable form of cricket.
