Just sent this to the club. </p> 'With a view to attracting extra spectators to ALL our last 3 home games, I think it would be an idea to sell a 3 match special ticket, along the lines of '3 games for the price of 2'. There is a chance attendances will suffer regardless of what happens in the FA Cup Semi Final, as a lot of people have pushed their finances to the limit to see every minute of this wonderful cup run. I think it would be very short sighted of the club not to recognise that and act accordingly to maximise the support in these crucial games and as a gesture of goodwill to the fans.'</p> Would reward those who would have come to all three and might hook a few who otherwise wouldn't have gone to every game.</p> </p>
Fantastic idea, I think Stoke did a similar thing just after Christmas and their attendances soared, which led to a run of good results. Speculate to accumulate......... think about it Gordon !!
And something for us season ticket holders as well, who are never involved in deals because we go every week
I think that is a great idea. Why not add an extra incentive to it - holders of these tickets will take equal second priority for tickets with centenary society members for any wembley final, before any category for single ticket stubs. (not counting any chickens obviously)
I thought your season ticket was a special deal ?? You don't pay for 23 games at the going rate do you
True, but that's the gamble at the start of the season, knowing you're not picking and choosing games. Plus we have felt victimised by how some none holders reacted to us taking our full allocation for the semis
You got first crack at Liverpool tickets, chelsea tickets,Wembley tickets, Final maybe? Yes you are right , you dont get owt, no free matches then, dont you get something like 8 or so matches for free when you buy a season ticket?
£375 for 23 games in West (or East) upper Buying on a match by match basis its £22 for the same seat so the same price as 17 home games - ie 6 free Economic madness for me to buy one as I only get to around 9 or 10 home games, fortunately madness not looking quite so dumb now as it did in the summer when handing over the cash
