The last time I looked I was a Barnsley fan

    I first looked when I was 5. I was a Barnsley fan then. I'm 33 now and I'm still a Barnsley fan. I looked today, when I paid £17 to enter the Ponty End, and I was a Barnsley fan then too. As I have been for all my life. The life that I can remember anyway. Barnsley football club is the fans. Players come and go. Directors and **** come and go. Owners come and go. The only constant we've got are the fans. I am a barnsley fan and you will never, ever drive me away. I am am Barnsley fan. Come on you reds.

    Well said mate. It's amazing how whenever I'm in Oakwell my spine tingles with excitement and anticipation, whatever's happening. Even if there isn't a game on. It's like my spiritual home, and it always will be.
