Goals conceeded about typical for 2/3's of the teams in the division.

Goals scored - only Ipswich have scored less.

Puzzling why people are going on about Wiseman all the time.....

Been saying this for weeks. We need to score more goals. Fundamental priority.

I've no problem with Wiseman - he is a decent footballer. Not a great one, by any means, but good enough. He seems to be playing out of position though. I would see him in the Matty Appleby role where defending his not so important but the ability to break out with the ball is. No one can deny he has a fair turn of pace about him, and a footballing brain - he just doesn't belong at centre half

It's easy to blame the defence after a defeat but when you are losing a series of games 1-0 with barely any meaningful effort on goal you have to blame the strikers, no one in the division consistently gets a clean sheet.

Our problem is up front we have zero strength-in-depth - keep hold of Craig Davies and add some cover and we'll be fine. Not heard many opinions on Tudgay's performance on Saturday, hopefully he will be the answer.

The fact that we are struggling for goals with probably mean we'll never see whether Mido still has it or not as it's too much of a risk to keep playing someone like him who fitness-wise may not be cut out for this league at the moment.

In my opinion Wiseman is, at best, a "squad" Championship level player. Hill obviously rates him because he has not let him down in the past at League 1 level, either as a player or a character in the dressing room at that level, and therefore has made him captain. Hill is determined to find him a place in the starting line up, he is probably number one on the team sheet. Sorry Keef, he is not a Championship level Centre Half. He can mop up situations with his pace running back to goal but that is about it. He cant win a ball in the air against Championship strikers, he cant think quick enough to mark forwards running into space, he watches the ball rather than the man he should be covering, he slows our game down coming out of defence with a look up,pause, then give it to somebody else(usually Golbourne). Could maybe hack it at right back but I would rather see a Stones/JOB combination down the right hand side. We really do need a "proper" Centre Half---tall, horrible and dominant, someboby who wouldnt have let Beckford run across him or leave Davies all alone.

Got to Agree STL. He isn't a first choice championship player, squad player yes. He isn't a captain either. All IMO of course.
