    December 2006: Scores his only goal of United's Premiership campaign against Charlton Athletic. Involved in controversy after Aston Villa's Juan Pablo Angel appears to catch him with an elbow during a match at Bramall Lane but referee Mark Halsey absolves the Columbian of any responsibility. Is punched by Wigan's Lee McCulloch towards the end of a game at the JJB Stadium but refuses to take the matter any further saying: &quot;We're all sportsmen.&quot;

    January 2007: Banned for three games following an incident with Arsenal's Robin Van Persie.

    March 2008: Is sent-off during a defeat at Preston North End.

    April 2008: Dismissed during a dramatic Championship victory over Hull City.

    November 2008: Receives his second yellow card of the season for a challenge on Barnsley's Iain Hume who is later admitted to hospital after being diagnosed with a fractured skull.
