    With respect. please remember

    I've read some of your posts re how the pit closure programme proved to be a positive thing in you case.Good luck to you on that. I also came out of it well (not financially) but largely down to my own hard word. Not all ex miners & their families fared so well though. Whilst there are various reasons for this, (which have been covered many times before on here)let us not forget the Communities that were also devasted by the Tory assasination of the Mining industry. All I am saying is really please try not to portray your case as the norm & that many miners. their families and communities have paid, and continue to pay a very high cost for a savage Tory hate-filled campaign. That said, I hope you have a great time & hope your interview goes well. No doubt the super Reds will get a mention or two.

    Dunt worry, I know too well that i'm not a typical case
    And I'll make sure a description is given, not just of how the pits were then but how things have turned out locally now
    Whether they give air time to those veiws is another thing
