I was bang in line with the supposed offsides and I thought Howard was on and would have to see McIndoe's again but very close. What annoyed me was that the fat lino was yards behind the line of the ball on both these, and several other occasions. And I mean yards behind, that's ridiculous at this level. I run the line on a Sunday morning and even I manage to keep with the back line. Bad decisions is one thing, unable to do the basics is unacceptable.

Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Some great football from Barnsley but we need a lean, mean gritty striker. Barry Hayles would do nicely. And I know everyone loves Hassel but he was in all sorts of trouble against Banks and Hayles. We looked better when Reid took his place and he moved out right.

I'm a part-timer and know nowt but I reckon we have the foundations of a cracking team. Passion and effort was fantastic, just need some grit chucking in there and we'll do OK. Shame about the crowd. These fairweather fans make me sick.

    Vinny reckoned ...

... the Plymouth girl band were called The Plymouth Hoes. I gave up after that.

Yes the grumpy old git stand. Talking of which I bumped into Tommy.

    Vinny ?!?!

Is he still whirling like a dervish?

It's not easy trying to hold a conversation with someone in a pub when they're forever bloody break dancing is it?

No doubt he plied you with a few late '60s jokes too.

    Bless him.

    RE: Vinny ?!?!

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t the first offside decision closer to the halfway line and the second was in the penalty area.

Were you sitting in 2 different seats in the 1st half?

I was in no position to comment but with the anger directed at the Lino says that they must have been close.
