    To be fair if you read the comments one explanation is that each wheelchair has a carer sat with them and it is these people who are celebrating.

    were half the carers sat in wheelchairs too then? because im bloody sure i saw at least 10 folk jump up from one !!

    There's a world of difference between being able to stand up and walking. Sometimes people have such a narrow view of disability.

    Just thinking same - A wheelchair doesn't' mean you've lost the use of your legs.

    I remember when we played Liverpool in the Premier League and when Willard stormed off up the tunnel someone down at the front of the Ponty was stood on their wheelchair kicking off. The bloke next to my dad said "Look Al, its a bloody miracle"!!!

    One thinks he has! Especially as ive spent the last few years doing PE sessions in schools for disabled kids. You cant feckin say owt!!!!

    just remember you are on the BBS and on here

    no one ever takes time to think outside the envelope. You are so correct that there will be some doors knocked ... as the social services/ DHSS are the narrow minded ones in this case.
