    I've just read that Chelsea have 28 players out on loan at other clubs. Utter madness, what on earth is happening with football?

    Not sure how you know we're paying half the wages, but I think all clubs loaning players should pay 100% of the wages. Or the system should be scrapped altogether.

    no, I believe that both the parent club and the club that loans the player share the wages.

    No, that just allows smaller clubs to take on players they can't afford to buy, distorting things on the pitch. Loan players are a large part of the reason why I've lost interest in football.
