Why are the club allowing this transfer to be conducted via the media....... Davey and the club have always conducted transfers on the basis of they say nothing till the deal is done.... So why are we being drawn into a 3 way media battle with WBA and Luke Steele??? The club have massive Championship Games to prepare for let alone the semi-final and this transfer is all were hearing about.... The Club should be riding a wave of possitive publicity attracting fans back to the club, but instead we are allowing ourselves to be portrade as a bunch tigh gits that are not willing to reward a young player who has been instrumental in our cup run...... The club need to put out this right quickly before it sours the atmosphere of our recent success!!!! They need to conclued the deal or move on quickly, if the club do decide to move on then they need to let people know the real reasons behind this decision and put the record straight..... Rant over....... Bring on Sheff Utd, is time to prove who the best team in South Yorkshire are once and for all!!!!
It's difficult to avoid media attention with this one.
Steele, Barnsley and their collective achievements are fairly big news on a waning football season at the moment.

It's West Brom who have gone public. The club have stayed pretty quiet on all this with the exception of the odd word saying we're still trying to negotiate a deal.
