    I have just been on a long international flight. On the inflight entertainment was a 40 minute video called “The Magic of the FA Cup”. This included FA cup goal highlights since 1980.
    Barnsley appeared on the video 4 times, everyone as the conceding team.
    So two questions:
    What do you think these best 4 cup goals were?
    More importantly, what would our best 4 cup goals be?
    Personally I was amazed that Howard’s at Liverpool was not part of the magic of the FA cup

    With regards to four of our best goals during the same period, how about:-
    1.Mike Lester, at Middlesbrough, 1981;
    2.Steve Cooper, home to Stoke City, 1989;
    3.Owen Archdeacon, home to Leicester City, 1993;
    4.Martin Bullock, home to Oldham Athletic, 1997.

    Re: Cooperman?

    i remember stevie Coops celebrating afterwards more than the build up and the finish. he was right in front of their fans and he gave it the old double back flip thingy. brilliant especially as wed been telling them all night where to shove their pink panthers :)

    as for the comeback at bromsgrove, i thought ohh gerry gerry got our first goal that day and archdeacon got the winner ?

    Forget goals. It should have just been a 40 minute loop of Marlon Harewood's post match celebration vs. Mk Dons. That was proper magic of the Fa cup.
