Pure class! Will we be able to hold onto him for the entire season or will a "bigger fish" come sniffing round with an offer Gordon can't/won't refuse? Just how loyal is he going to prove and is any bond he's formed with the rest of the team going to be strong enough to make him stay? I fear the worst come January!
He's determined to play at the highest level. I'd hope his team mates share that ambition and show as much application as he's doing at the mo.
thing is i think against stoke was the worst i've seen us play all season, i cannot fault any players performaces so far, all 100% every game, I think we'll be ok and even if we do go down playing this type of football i know am not going to moan!!!
RE: thing is if we could haveĀ yesterday's first half with the Stoke second half we'll make the playoffs!!
I for one would renew my season ticket next year just on the strength of his still being with the club.
Luxury player? Aye, scores goals, sets up goals, works hard, tracks back to cover for the awful left back...</p> Replace "luxury" with "Our best"</p>
I've heard he's a loner who has nowt to do with the rest ... ... of them, and he's a clever, cocky so and so with a poor attitude, on the other hand they probably don't like him cos he's making a lot of them look ordinary!
RE: I've heard he's a loner who has nowt to do with the rest ... Did that come from Donny by any chance? Apparently he was a god while he was there who metamorphosed into Satan himself as soon as he left!
Would imagine most of our players would be tempted by better offers. Problem is, very few of them would be chased would they? Mcindoe would obviously think about other offers if it meant more money, etc, wouldn't they all, and could you blame him? It's a job not a love of Barnsley for him.
RE: I've heard he's a loner who has nowt to do with the rest ... not according to his interview-speaks highly of the squad
