Mr Ridsdale my saviour and chief bank balance inflater has once again offered me the sort of cash i cannot refuse. Hes obviously stuck 2 fingers up at the club budget because theres no way i could earn that sort of money outside the premiership anywhere else. Infact, who needs the premiership earning that sort of wad! Balls to the fact Barnsley will finish higher than Cardiff next season. I'll make up a nice story such as "i dont want a relegation scrap" which is a thinly veiled "i was better than my team mates at Barnsley" and swan off without a second thought Barnsley had just given me the best moment of my career. Ah well. Barnsley - whad about ya!

Thanks for your spell here Macca - even if we did only get approx 15 good games out of you. At cardiff you will get 11K gates and mid table mediocracy. Next season here at tarn we will average 13K+ i reckon and depending on our signings watch out! Cant wait for us to play you and give you a good hiding.

i dont believe we gave it him. i believe playing for his country would be above it. as would playing in the premiership, playing in the champions league, and playing at top grounds like nou camp.

I hope he plays as good as when he first signed for us. Then he won't have the support he would have if he had have stayed here. So much for waiting a few weeks to see the clubs ambition! He knew he was going as soon as he released the statement about the clubs ambition!
Just remember Nathan Ellington, left to stay in the prem, from Wigan to WBA. Well now he is a Championship and Wigan in the Prem, and now he hasn't got the support he had at Wigan!

Do you not class the Millenium Stadium as a 'top ground'? and Leeds got beat 4-0 at the Nou Camp. He must be so proud.

nice ground yeah but LEAGUE ONE. nou camp yeah they lost but CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and they did very well to get so far.

He played 3 matches and they were all in the group stages! A play off final is bigger game than a Champions league group game!

Note the word 'final' it tends to signify that a match is quite important!

McPhail played against Barcelona & got beat 4-0. He also played against those giants of world football Besiktas twice, all in the group stage!

I'm sure Stephen McPhail would tell you that winning a play off final is a bigger moment than getting hammered in the Nou Camp.

 

Told my mates lass that

She's a season ticket holder at Oakwell since moving up here but used to regularly watch Arsenal.....told her that Arsenal would never get to a play off final!
