    The illness was genuine, the Bramah was for a "meeting" to discuss Chamber business. The whisky is for the hell of it. I've had 4 days of no drink, I deserve one.

    Mind you, the service was up to the usual standard in the Bramah. I named my beer to the barmaid & got a blank look. I repeated my order. She said "Oh, it's one of the hand pulled ones" I thought "Yes love, you're going to have to work for your money & pull me a pint & not just flick a switch!" :D
