    and now its time to push on, the more I think he's planning onreally pushing the boat out with his money in order to bring in the type of players that will lead us to success and draw the crowds in.</p>

    Its getting difficult to discount some of the rumoursspouted on here that would normally be dismissed out of hand.</p>

    I don't think Mr Cryne wants to commit any more of his cash than he has already. Which we are mightily grateful for. I do think he wants Barnsley to be a better run business and make better use of its own resources.

    What Rothred is saying is an opinion based on what Pat Cryne has actually said........which is a fair comment to make

    But what evidence have you got that Pat Cryne dosen't want to spend any more money on the club ???

    Mr Cryne has said as much to the public. He has made statements before stating that his money does not come from a bottomless pitt etc.

    I'm in no way having a go at Mr Cryne. I am very grateful he stepped in and saved our club.

    What I am saying is that from what Mr Cryne has said I believe he wishes to make the club into a self supporting enterprise that uses its own money. His recent comments about making changes to make the club more profitable support this argument.

    I have seen nothing to suggest he intends supplying large amounts of cash from his personal coffers. In any event he does not have the funds.

    To be fair did mr ritchie want the box office players at the time or was he contempt with giving league 1 players a shot at the championship? the 2nd option of the 2 I think.
