We still manage to pick out the negatives. Its completely unfair to judge a potential new owner, just because there foreign doesn't mean they don't hold the clubs best intrest at heart. If we ever want to move onwards as a club, this seems to be the only way its done nowadays. I think this takeover news is fantastic.

Disagree. It's not broke dont fix it. I personally am not trying to pick out negatives, just think we allready are "moving on" maybe slowly but its happening. And there is no reason (injury and stupid sales in january permitting) that we cant achieve a top half finish this season.

So let's stay a selling club, let's continue finishing in the bottom 6...we'll lose two games and folk will be wanting hill out etc...its brilliant news for the club.

    I agree with M D Arfield-Red

However getting some of the old fa.rt brigade on here to look to the future will prove impossible cos they would rather remain a skint little old club

I agree as well. Only way to move forward is with investment. We have had a decent start to the season but didn't we do well upto Christmas last year? If somebody wants to put a bit of money in so we can keep our better players and get the going rate for our younger stars then i'm all for it.

I don't think anyone has an issue with sustainable investment so long as it leaves us with a manageable wage bill based on income.

Come on, it's only natural to look at the potential impact of any investment, be it positive or negative. If we can't do this in the week its annouced that we could be sold at some point, then when can we?

Don't get me wrong, if someone came in with a *****load of cash that they were either going to burn, or give to Barnsley FC, I'd snap their hand off! But its only natural to look at all potential outcomes.

I agree to no end mate, but look at every single thread...its all negative, its silly! Reports of Hillcroft losing there jobs oif a new manager comes in is ********. Papers have seen italian owners and straight away put 2 and 2 together and equalled Watford.

By that logic then all the takeover talk is ******** as it was in the papers too.

I hate that term..........who's told thi its not broke !!!
We aint been out of the bottom 6 since we came back into this league FFS !!!
Plus of course we are selling our best players at knock down prices cos we are desperate for money
Fans are drifting away because of this..........so dont say that its not broke.......cos it foooking is

I think you are all missing the main issue here cryne wants out so we HAVE to look elsewhere. We are not in a position to pick and choose buyers so this is the only way to progress!

But its not ********, was confirmed by Rowing as you well know. At no point will the potential buyers spoke about sacking 0keith hill...even if they did, what are they gonna do? Tell Cryne to lose out on 10 million so Hill can stay in a job...I'm sorry, but too many people on this board need to open there eyes and catch up.

**** it then, bring in the millions and sack Hill.

Then lets bring in a load of high profile players only interested in cash, I mean its worked wonders for Leicester hasn't it.

Im not talking about the bottom six finishes and i agree it is frustrating selling our best players at crap prices, im talking about the way the club is run, we havent got a bucket load of money but we are bulding something good, for a club our size to survive relegation and turn a small profit is a miracle, i think its exciting whats happening. And whenever there is talk of a takeover you cant help but look at the examples of when it has failed before against when it has been a roaring success, im 24 so im not an "old timer" who is stuck in my ways, just very optimistic of what Mr Cryne and Mr Hill are doing, and dont see the need for any change. Just my opinion young nudger.

Worked wonders for City, Chelsea, and so on...

Look at QPR, they were in a state before they got a takeover...now playing in the EPL. Once again though, typical of this board to find the negatives...I'm half suprised the majority on here didn't find something to moan about beating brum 5 nowt!

There's something to be said in favour of new money, if it means we can then ward off bids for our best players and keep our up-and-coming youngsters. But I think any would be suitors should be told that Hill and Flicker will remain in charge as a condition of acceptance of any bid.

It would be folly to remove them from office, just as things appear to be picking up, and we are now seeing what they've achieved on very limited resources.
