Some fans are still making excuses for the board, their recruitment team and their ridiculous transfer policies. Theyve well and truly shafted us fans, at the start of the summer I was quite excited with the early transfer activity then we started to miss targets and the departures started, then Stendel started to make noises like Hecky had done re signing experience then we just made a bad situation worse by allowing Pinnock and Moore to go despite both being under contract and before adequate replacements had been recruited without any care about what that would do to the team's chances. And before the boards human shields start with we've always been a selling club excuse yes we have but we used to sell one player now and again not 3 or 4 of our best players in one window.

Yes this! It’s alwright throwing a load of **** at a wall, no doubt some will stick. But we are in a proper league now, not league one, the gap between this and league one gets bigger every year most lower league football fans realise this. We should have been looking for one of the best Premier League 2 players we could get (Barnes, McBurnie) and we should have been looking for one or two who have been playing in the championship for multiple seasons.

Some are the posters who used to be always on at patrick but think these owners are the 2nd coming it's quite sad really. I always said we would miss patrick one day right now I'd swap in a heartbeat if it was possible.

Patrick adored this club, and he adored the people of this town. He was always, to me, a lovely bloke. The town and the club was never going to be the same after he passed, but the club's decline, and it is in decline, was not expected. I don't think any of us expected big money to be spent but we did expect SOME money to be spent.

Yep some fans including Nudger never gave PC the credit he deserved, it’s alright now we have some new owners who give absolutely zero **** unless we aren’t producing a profit on the balance sheet.

This lot just don’t get it. The Championship is the fifth richest league in Europe. To think you can approach it with a team of U23s is utterly ridiculous and the result will be humiliating.
