The most worrying 90 minutes of the last 10 years........

    Yep........it was that bad

    McEverly.......what can you say
    Crowd attendance............dismal
Crowd reaction.................worse than dismal (but then again what was there to cheer about ?)
    Hillflickers tactics………..woeful
Two holding midfielders at home…….disgraceful. They just couldn’t cope with Southampton……..so why not go 4, 1, 4, 1
Wingers……….Butters and Perkins are central midfield players…….they are NOT wingers
We made Southampton look like Barcelona. And yet towards the end of the match when we attacked them they looked very ordinary........pity Hillflicker didn't have the bottle to do this from the start

    On a positive……McNulty

Tonight I am really worried about the season ahead........even tho I went to Forest and saw a good professional performance

Another positive among many negatives was....

    Vas Te.

I thought he was our best player in the time he was on and he did come back and defend and then run right back up the field.

He did more than haynes did the entire match and look far more of a threat.

Everyone was saying hes a risk because his work rate will be poor. Yet if Hill is true to his word saying bad performers will be dropped then Vas Te should take haynes place on Tuesday

The first half was as bad as anything we got under any manager in the last few years. Hill will learn and things will improve, i'm still optimistic although today has put a dent in my pre season optimism.

How McNulty was a positive I don't know

2nd only to McEvely in the worst player stakes for me.

Haynes was close although he was being played out of position, again.
