Is being delayed as the council didn't think to organise any electricity for it until now. Apparently there is no direct line of access to the site for power cables and land owners are refusing access.

Am I missing something? I could have sworn the building they knocked down had all mod cons like electricity

    About right for barnsley.

Come to barnsley. Enjoy shopping in our countless poundlands and charity shops. Enjoy a frothy coffee in one of our many cafes.
Struggle to find your way around a carpark in the dark

If anywhere would have electricity surely it would be a producer of lighting. Unless Ceag didn't test any lights before they sold any.

Tidy . Typical useless friggin council . They've been 'remaking ''rethinking ' re-naffing up' barnsley for the last 15 years and got pretty well nowhere. I wish i was the man selling the red and white bollards id be chuffing laughing. They've been doing the roundabout near Carlton industrial estate for a month now . The 2 blokes that are doing it must be balled off !

Is it the council doing that? I'd have thought it would be the college as it's them who have built a new building and destroyed the pavement in the process

My favourite part of the regeneration is spending a fortune repaving Wellington Street because that's what people go to Wellington Street for, the artistic pavement

    My mate worked on council.
Used to be in building dept
Advised on repairs, heating etc for council houses
Went fishing with trailer on back. When we come to set off home, asked him to couple trailer to car. Reply? Do not know how they work
We also once went to an small hotel and we arrived back to it after going out for e few beers, he was last in so we asked him to put Yale lock on. After 10 minutes he was still there. Shouted what's wrong, he said he did not know how to lock it???
    Brilliant
