Rugby league been doing it for a whle. they have sponsors on front fo shorts, back of shorts, shirt sleeves and back of shirts above number. as well as the traditional front of shirt ad.

its a way of raking in more cash. personally i don't mind it. premier league teams have prem badges on the sleeves so no different having company logo there

Sponsors on shorts/socks really bugs me. It took me a long time to accept having two sponsors on the shirts, but I'd hate to imagine how many sponsors will be slapped all over kits in the next 5/10 years.

LD we have had shorts sponsors for a couple of seasons. The socks is a new one.

My opinion of the new kit is I'd prefer tangerine socks with the home kit. But I like it.
The away kit looks ok and the 3rd is different. A throw back to 1962 when we wore that as our 2nd strip.

BTW I'll have words with you about your comments when we meet. ;) :D

We have shorts sponsors too, but the socks is a new one! I like the kits, but I'm not sure how the home shirt will look without the shorts because they blend together quite well. Love the style of the away kit ala Man Utd last season.

Just need to wait and see what Nike have in store for us....

but I'm not sure how the home shirt will look without the shorts

I'm positive our female fans would love that. ;)
