but obviously only if he wins every game. If not, we need to get shut. What is the plan exactly? It doesn't really seem to me as though long termism is the plan. If the strategy is actually short termism whilst selling our best assets on the cheap to survive, but demanding a top 6 finish at the same time, which appears to be so, then fine, let's be honest about it. If this is the strategy then we will need to be looking at someone along the lines of Jesus Christ to take the leap into management for us. I see he is 28/1 on the Skybet odds. Worth a punt.
There is a difference between winning every game and losing 50% of the games you're in charge of over a period of 13 months.
You wouldn't know he had one of the best budgets in the league. He's barely signed an handful of good players during his three transfer windows. We as fans deserve much better. We've not won by playing well for three or four months. He plays guys out of position. Guys he's only brought in a few months ago have disappeared. Guys he brought in only last summer have already been paid off. The tactics are boring, negative and a chore to watch. It's not about winning every week. But we win we want to be able to say it was a good performance and when we lose we want to see some fight. We couldn't risk him relegating us from a third different league. If he was still here and we lost on saturday he'd have another unwanted record for consecutive away defeats.
