Right now I am feeling very sick , I am already the first glass(large) down a bottle of RED(what else). But I will put this view forwards reference a new manager. Firstly let me say I believe we are still going to be relegated, yet I hope to God this is wrong, but thats my gut feeling. The new manager in my view is in a kinda win win situation no matter what happens. If we go down, he blames Keef and tells us the damage was too far gone.If he keeps us up he is a legend. So lets look beyond that a little, lets assume we go down. He is then under pressure to bring us straight back up, that will be quite a big ask considering our break even attitude just now. So now lets assume we stay up, he now has the task of keeping us up again next season, that also would be a big ask too for the same reason. BUT would that be good enough, the attitude on here would want to finish mid to upper table. I am honestly in a total whirl right now, not sure what name I have heard mentioned I would like to see in the seat. I totally think it would be unfair to give Mr Flitcroft the post other than caretaker, due to his connection with Mr Hill ( and if pressed I will explain why I said that if needed), and then appoint a new man. I wonder also if the team will now pull their collective fingers out and go on a little run of success, so they can all then say " Hey LOOK it was not our fault". The last thing that concerns me is that we waited till now to part company. In a few days time the January window opens, surely we will not let a caretaker sign players ahead of a new manager ? and if we do not appoint rapidly then we may well miss the window entirely. The timing of this sacking is abysmal, this shows the lack of nous the current board has.
