That's true but it's a good stadium for a small club like Rotherham (no offence intended) and at least it's somewhere with low maintenance costs in Rotherham that they can call home.
Totally disagree,I think its the best new build I've been to,you don't quite see it from where we were today but all four sides are different with interesting staggered floodlighting..and with only a few in for a friendly it didn't seem a bad atmosphere ..especially considering such a poor first half.
I agree in that I wouldn't want to replace Oakwell with one,but for a new build I think thats the best by a mile..much better than the LegoMoat
cracking little stadium and i'll bet a pound to a penny its a cracking atmosphere when theres a good crowd in,good luck to 'em,hope they're playing us in the championship sometime.
Agreed. Can't ask for much more. Good view, good atmosphere, steep embankments. I went last year and can't think of a new ground I was more impressed with.
Think it's new stadium design in general that I have an issue with...unless it's a big grand one like Wembley. I did like the steep stands at Rotherham though but couldn't help thinking if you trip up anywhere near the top your going to be rolling at some pace to the bottom! It's does provide a good view though and I suppose it's one way of making a small capacity stadium look a little bit bigger.
I don't like any new stadiums at all. Have to say though yesterday's was oreyt, I did like the steep stands, gave for a good view. Could get a good racket going banging on back too
I was very impressed with it, both in design and location. One of the better 'new builds' that I've been to - far, far, far better than the keepmoat. The only thing I didn't like was the insufferable noise from the speakers and the greenhouse effect caused by the clear perspex roof over the stand we were sitting in. The closeness to the pitch was definitely a bonus.
