    at Oakwell we have ...
The East Stand Concourse. A place to meet and greet friends old and new, have a laugh, eagerly look forward to the mach, spend three quid on a nameless pie, two quid for some crisps, four quid for some things, stand in comfort watching the surround sound multi screen entertainment system, and then...
Half time experience.... jostling with the crowd to get prime position to watch some small children trying to kick a football past a stuffed dog.
This has provided hours and hours....and hours of endless fun for years and years.... and years. Why change it, it is so exciting and entertaining. I remember the thrill of the change when they thought it would be a great idea to kick a ball through some holes in a shed. I bet the San Ciro has never had that.
The scoreboard. With half the pixels missing it provides the crowd with an hilarious game of "guess what the fck is it supposed to say."
The tannoy system. Let's get a bloke in who bellows into the microphone, turn the sound up so high that you can't hear or speak to the person next to you. Then get him to reassure us that they are "our team, our town and give it up for the super reds... let's hear some noise," followed by an appreciative smattering of polite applause, done more out of sympathy than belief.
Applause in winter. See the above but replace polite applause with gloved polite applause as Oakwell resounds to the sound of dozens of pairs of gloves. Like the sound of one hand clapping.
The flag wavers. Never mind the booming emotion of the Champions League anthem, let's have some kiddies waving a few flags near the tunnel as the teams come out. A welcome to stir the heart and bring tears to your eyes.
Can I think of more... yes I probably can, but I've got work to do, to create my own "experience" at home.
