    RE: That's correct though

what so you have to buy them before 5pm friday but you can claim them up to 12 noon saturday.

if thats the case then its very misleading and is bound to cause trouble.

    very poor.

I find it disgusting that the club is deleting these news stories without explanation or apology for the mistake.

Where in any of the articles taken from the Official Site does it...

inform the reader that the dealine is the day before (or in the case of the Southend mnatch the Saturday before?)

The only deadline I can see mentioned is "12 Noon Saturday"

    WHY...

is everyone so hell bent on trying to compain about everyting the club does..

    FFS

Live with it. At the end of the day, they could end up turning round and saying... "you have copied and pasted from the original sight" copyright and all that ******.

Be thankfull that they are giving free tickets.. jeese.

I can understand the frustration, but feckin drop it. If you are so intent on complaining about it, print the website page off and take it with you and deal with it in person.

Better still, get a solicitor and do some real damage.

Sick of hearing about it now.

    Be thankful...

    fot free tickets.

I'd hazard a guess that some funding comes from FL for this "deal".

The point is that their official website, coped and pasted or not DOES NOT state that tickets must be purchased by the day before and certainly DOES SAY that tickets must be claimed by 12 NOON SATURDAY.

It did not and does not affect me cos I don't know anyone who is 10 or under, but it has obviously affected some people, and the response received by another poster is shambolic, and despite all that might be done well, certain individuals at BFC continue, IMHO to regard themselves as being above criticism and above the average fan, when in fact they are not.

dead right, Nez. get a life, coom on fellas.....

an it's good that we've got a Chairman that gets involved, even if does show that he can be the standard cranky old man. Christ! what a squall in a teacup ...

Having said that, I've met the old Tyketalker.... and what a classy lady she is.

And here is Windy, pushing his own agenda, wanting to beat up Rob Knowles. Christ, Windy, he musta done something pretty bad to you.

    on with the show...

    owners/chairman etc..

    are above the average fan.

    they bloody run it.

Like I stated, I can understand why people are frustrated. My point being, their are one or 2 individuals constantly criticise everything they do, including on the pitch...

So I can just see us getting promoted, and the same people still have something to pick at....

also like I said, raise the complaint with a solicitor etc, cause more expense to the club etc, give it a complete bad name, reduce fan base and bugger us up completely.

    Go for it

Slow down a minute there gents

This was an issue that had raised its head a few times on this BBS, to the point where the chairman of BFC had contacted the administrators of this site in order to clarify a few things. I therefore thought it a very pertinent subject on which to comment.

I'd also read a few comments by some posters that claimed the official website had never stated fans could get their free tickets on the Saturday. I thought I'd read that you could and a couple of minutes research clarified this fact. I therefore thought it only right that I should share this information with other BBS users, many of whom had obviously taken an interest in the subject. If the 5 minutes it took me to research and comment on the subject means I should get a life then so be it, but I think that makes you a very harsh judge.

At the end of the day I posted one piece of information that backed up the story of a BBS poster who was having a hard time convincing some people she had a case. I feel neither sorry nor guilty for doing that.

    not havin a go mate...

I am not on either side...

yes the club made an error, and an appology should be made and clarified in the future.

I was only trying to point out that no matter what they do end up doing, some people will never be happy and will try to question the club and try unsettle things...

I just think its got out of hand, and should be resolved on a more personal level without trying to get the backs up of other people it doesn't affect.

these sorts of issues tend to tar the club and one experience shouldn't be used as bait to try and get people to "join in" in order to try and put down the OVERALL good work that they have done for the club.

After all no one is perfect, and mistakes will always be made.

Generally, how many of us think that the people who run the club have done nothing but crap.

The club, rightly or wrongly have asked the BBS to clarify a few things, yes, but I see this as good thing, at least they are trying to get things over to people, as they could have sat their and said nothing.

Effort is their (albiet missing the apology) and no one should try and nock them for everyting they do.

This is probably the most visited BBS that BFC has, and any links between the 2 should be nurtured and encouraged as it can only help between discussions between the club and its fans.

But the comments of a certain few who constantly criticise, could harm that and we return to the good old days of not hearing anything at all.

    get ter fook, Jay.

There must be something interesting happening somewhere.

Worrabart Gary Glitter? I had to concentrate on his his picture in the Sun before I could see any resemblance to the man, "Do you wanna touch me there, where, there, where, there where"

Arsene Wenger's the MAN. He's proved himself in England... he's not a foreigner anymore.

You should have seen the width on my dad's coal shovel. eee an it wor black. Black as night.

The brig would murder shefftyke's team.
