How many decisions can they get wrong in one half * Howard should have had a penalty. * Naughton got his shirt pulled but Burnley got a goal kick. * The ball never came off Blake so Burnley were denied a corner. * Burnley were clearly onside with the through ball but it was given offside. Roll on the second half. I thought more than three minutes would have been given as well. Not complaining though.
That penalty Very tough to give. Only from one camera angle in slow motion does it look a certain one. With the game running at full flow it was very hard for Dean to give it.
Howard should have been booked for the dive.... and Naughton could have kept going and got thru but preferred to look for the foul. all fuel for Blackwell should they have blown it by full time, heres hoping
Nevertheless I bet Sheff Utd's solicitors are drafting their writs to Burnley, the Football League and the referee as we speak.
agree apart from it wasn,t a penalty for howard, watch closely alexander is aiming a kick at the ball to clear it when howard suddenly comes from the side, deffo not a penalty!
RegardsThe Penalty I think that it is perhaps a delicious irony that the clear mind games that Blackwell was trying on with Mike Dean may have backfired badly - as I think Dean has had it in mind that he doesn't want to give a penalty in the Blunts favour unless he could see it was absolutely stonewall, so as to avoid accusations that he has been swayed by Blackwell comments. Although we will never know for certain, I will smile lots just thinking it may be the case.
doesnt fooking matter what we think!!!!!!!!! the ref got it reight and they arent playing in the premier league..hahahahahahahahaha
